Hours: Hybrid, M-F, 8am-4:30pm (will be required to be in office at least once per week.)
The Senior Consultant, Talent Management and Leadership, is accountable for supporting Penn Medicine's talent management and leadership development services and programs. S/he will play a strong role in shaping and executing the defined Talent Management and Leadership Development strategies throughout teams, departments, entities and service lines across Penn Medicine. These services support UPHS' employment brand position to attract, motivate, develop and retain the best in class talent. S/he must be a relationship builder and partner with CHROs and leaders in the Perelman School of Medicine.
Accountabilities
Partnering with the Director, TM/LD and Human Resources leaders, shapes the talent management process across UPHS, including the building, implementation and acceptable of competency models, performance management, talent dialogues and succession planning throughout the enterprise.
Guides performance management transformation, including training, tools and resources; links performance management and developmental planning; amplifies performance management strategies, tools, resources and skills.
Assists in building strategic priorities for talent management and leaderships development for next 3-5 years.
Supports the design for talent management and development planning efforts, including training, tools and resources.
Supports the integration of talent management processes with other key PMA / HR processes including leadership and pivotal talent development – i.e. mentoring, coaching, 360 feedback, recognition, etc.
In conjunction with the Director, TM/LD supports leadership development by assessing need, identifying, developing, and implementing leadership learning strategies, tactics, service and programs as needed.
In conjunction with the Director, TM/LD, CHROs and leaders in the Perelman School of Medicine, designs and directs the onboarding of newly hired or promoted managers and senior leaders.
Provides one-on-one coaching to senior staff, managers and emerging leaders to support management effectiveness and leadership development.
Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization
Minimum Requirements
Required Education and Experience
Master's Degree preferably in Organizational Development or a similar field
7+ years of Experience in training, leadership development, talent management, strategic human resources, consulting, or leadership in a complex organization.
Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications
Certification in at any organizational development programs or assessment tools such as MBTI,
StrengthFinders (Gallup) Emotional Intelligence, 360 degree feedback is preferred.
