This is an exciting opportunity in Indianapolis, IN for a Global PDC Materials Analyst.

This individual represents the global parts distribution centers on multiple Product Line Teams and provide analysis and reporting for Materials Management and PDC Operations. Additional responsibilities include managing the annual cycle count activities and reporting inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities:
+ Act as point-of-contact representing the global parts distribution centers on multiple Product Line Teams.
+ Ensure any opportunity scenarios coming out of Product Line Teams having a direct impact on GPDCs are coordinated and communicated with Material Planning, Operations, Order Administration, Packaging, and other functional areas. Activities include communicating Engineering changes and stock transitions, providing inventory and demand analysis.
+ Manage PDC’s annual cycle count requirements and report inventory accuracy.
+ Assist in the planning, replenishment, and management of inventories in the global and regional parts distribution centers to provide target levels of customer service while minimizing inventory investments and total operating costs.
+ Update and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reports.
+ Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
+ Audit and maintain data quality, business processes and process documentation.
+ Establish best practices and drive training and adoption of tools, data and business processes across the supply chain.
Education:
+ BS or equivalent experience required
Experience:
+ Excellent analytical knowledge and skills.
+ Proficiency in data analysis, statistics and forecasting.
+ Critical thinking skills to understand and foresee implications of information and processes for current and future problem solving
+ Familiarity with SAP preferred
+ Advanced -PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite with heavy emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Strong oral and written business communication skills. Ability to construct and effectively deliver presentations to a wide variety of audiences, including cross-functional, multi-cultural, and multi-level audiences.
+ Ability to thrive under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision
+ High sense of urgency, energy and enthusiasm
+ Strong organizational skill and attention to detail
+ A team player with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross functional and multi-cultural teams
+ 2+ years of prior data analysis, or inventory planning and management in a multi-plant, multi-country, highly proliferated material environment required
+ ASCM CPIM certification preferred
