Floral Designer

Job Duties:

+ Produce original designs to fill customer orders and sympathy arrangements.

+ Duplicate various arrangements of different styles.

+ Assist customer on the phone as directed.

+ Assist other departments such as: Permanent design, weddings/special events and planter production as directed.

+ Other projects as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications:

+ A minimum of 1-2 years in floral design experience is preferred.

+ Driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report required.

+ Wedding work experience is preferred.

+ Basic reading and math skills is required.

+ The ability to duplicate and create arrangements and recipes at design level.

+ This position requires standing the entire shift.

+ Must work in a fast pace work environment

+ Working with technology, including tablets, to record activities and arrangement components.

+ Ability to frequently lift 10 – 30lb, occasionally life 50lb.

Schedule:

+ 6:00am- 2:30pm, Monday-Saturday. Rotating schedule to accommodate every other Saturday, potential for more for during seasonal peaks

+ Hours will vary during season, more hours will be required during peak seasons

Compensation: $16.50-$20.00
