Compensation:$29.97 per hour
Schedule:Monday-Friday 10am-6:30pm

The Role:
As aToxicology Analyst2, you play a key role in performing a variety of toxicology testing, from extraction to analysis working with highly complex instrumentation.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Working as part of a larger team, analyzes patient specimens by performing routine and special diagnostic medical laboratory tests reviews results following department protocols.
• Assists in the performance of quality control on all instrumentation before reporting test results following established quality control policies and procedures.
• As part of the initial review of results for definitive toxicology, verifies normal and abnormal results, correlates abnormal test results with other patient data, seeks consultation if necessary.
• Maintains patients' medical records and verifies accuracy.
• Assists in ordering laboratory supplies and necessities to maintain appropriate level of inventory.
• Performs and reports waived, nonwaived and highly complex routine and STAT laboratory tests.
• Complies with national PHI laws including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
• Maintains continual sustained attendance
• Other duties as assigned.
Ouridealcandidate:
• Must be able to support technical workers to provide an environment conductive to efficient operation.
• Strong typing skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and communities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Understand and adhere to the federal confidentiality regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physical Science or Biology.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physical or biological science from an accredited educational institution required.
+ Laboratory experience.
+ Attention to detail, LCMS instrumentation, data analysis.
