    Fabrication and Assembly Technician

     

    Our client, a leading manufacturer of custom heavy haul trailers, is seeking a Fabrication and Assembly Technician to join their team. As a Fabrication and Assembly Technician, you will be part of the production team supporting the assembly of high-quality trailers. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Fabrication and Assembly Technician

    **Location:** Manchester, IA

    **Shift:** All shifts available (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

    **Pay Range:** $21.00 - $23.00/hour

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders.

    + Prepare work by gathering parts, tools, and materials.

    + Install and assemble components using templates, measurements, and hand tools.

    + Verify completed components meet specifications using measuring tools.

    + Operate and adjust machinery and equipment as needed.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + **Prior industrial manufacturing or fabrication experience is required**

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.

    + Basic understanding of shop math and mechanical processes.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
