We are hiring a strategic and ambitious Business Development leader, focused on establishing new clients and growing existing accounts to help build EPAM’s pipeline in physical technology development, with a focus on MedTech/Life Sciences, robotics and automation, and connected product development consulting and engineering services work. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in these industries, with strong domain expertise and relationships, and a demonstrated consultative-sales approach in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
This is a highly collaborative, team-based role where you will work closely with senior leadership to set the strategy and tactics for growth. In pursuing new business, you will partner with our expert designers, engineers, and client engagement teams. Your focus will be on outside sales, raising the visibility of EPAM’s capabilities and driving our success in the physical technology development market.

Responsibilities
+ Actively drive awareness of EPAM’s Physical Technology Development capabilities with targeted client tradeshows, research-led thought leadership, client roadshows and workshops, meetings and tours at EPAM’s Boston innovation facility, etc
+ Develop a sales funnel by generating and qualifying leads, and collaborating with Client Engagement colleagues to secure new business aligned with revenue goals, focusing on physical technology development for both new and existing EPAM clients
+ Achieve first-year performance targets: secure booked contracts exceeding $1M and build a weighted pipeline over $5M, emphasizing account growth and the initiation of new accounts within physical product and engineering projects
+ Build an internal network and develop relationships with key stakeholders, including management, practice, and account teams; quickly learn and communicate EPAM Physical Technology Development team’s history, core value propositions, and experience
+ Position EPAM as a trusted partner for decision-makers within prospective and existing client organizations
+ Identify, articulate, orchestrate, and win multi-discipline consulting services projects in physical technology development within our focus areas including MedTech (medical devices and technologies), Robotics and Automation, and connected product development projects
+ Collaborate with EPAM technology partner companies to drive business opportunities in physical technology development and work closely with EPAM’s alliances team
+ Work across EPAM’s ecosystem to effectively generate and close new business
+ Stay abreast of current events, opportunities, and advancements across EPAM’s Business Units, and utilize insight into the physical technology development market and competitors to inform EPAM’s selling propositions and differentiators
Requirements
+ 10+ years' experience with a proven track record of identifying, proactively selling, and closing new consulting and engineering services business through consultative and collaborative multi-discipline team approaches within physical technology development and device-focused industries
+ Demonstrate a strong, established network of senior leaders at established, enterprise-level companies in the MedTech/Life Sciences, robotics, manufacturing automation, and connected product industries
+ Demonstrated ability to identify and penetrate new accounts in addition to expanding current client accounts
+ Ability to foster and develop long-term client relationships across all levels of client organizations, including C-suite executives
+ A self-starter who can quickly navigate and learn within a matrixed organization, build a strong network, and leverage EPAM’s world-class capabilities to deliver strategic value to our clients
+ A proven team player who can work closely with the EPAM physical technology development leadership team to develop effective, targeted go-to-market plans
+ Exceptional leadership and management skills, along with excellent oral and written communication abilities and seasoned presentation expertise
+ Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
+ Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive impactful business decisions
+ This is a remote position, but must be able to be in our Boston office for client meetings and collaborations as needed, with approximately 30% travel for client engagements
