Overview
**Purpose Statement/Position Summary:** The Associate Director of Clinical Transplant Services manages and coordinates all aspects of care delivery within the Transplant Service to include but not limited to clinical,
regulatory, compliance, and quality of care. The position has matrixed responsibilities across the organization to
assure multidisciplinary and multispecialty collaboration. Responsible for the development of policies and procedures, standards of practice, quality and patient safety, and performance improvement activities. The Associate Director ensures that high quality outcomes result through leading, planning, managing and implementing operational improvement processes. Works closely with Transplant medical, surgical, and administrative leadership to deliver cost effective services. Optimizes the patient f low and patient experience across the service, identifies opportunities for increased productivity and improved resource allocation to include consistent review of FTEs, space, facilities, equipment and clinical education.
**Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:** Required: 5+ years of recent solid organ transplant experience. Previous regulatory and fiscal management experience, Previous supervisory experience. Preferred: Pediatric transplant experience.
**Education/Licensure/Certification:** Required: Master’s Degree in Nursing, Business or Health Related Field, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or relevant health related field from an accredited school & California’s RN license.
Pay Scale Information
USD $151,860.00 - USD $260,332.00

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
