As a Customer Service Engineer in the Technical Field Organization for the Mechanical Systems group, you will utilize your technical knowledge, understanding of customer issues, and broad industry experience to maximize the value of Cadence solutions and workflows, with a focus on the Beta CAE product portfolio.
You will work closely with our customers in the West of the United States supporting technical campaigns The candidate will have expert knowledge of the Beta CAE tool set specifically for automotive and consumer electronics, workflows.
The ideal candidate will reside in the San Jose and demonstrate a track record of CAE Application Engineering leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Work within existing strategic accounts, identify areas of growth and drive adoption and proliferation of Cadence tools and technologies by uncovering unarticulated needs
• Identify and qualify opportunities at new accounts, by analyzing the customer’s processes and providing appropriate solutions, while being knowledgeable and aware of competitive technologies
• Collaborate as part of a team of Application Engineers providing broad physics and domain support to Cadence customers,
• The ability to deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to help drive technical campaigns to success with customers and help R&D to enhance the tools and methodologies to meet and exceed customer’s requirements
• Execute successful technical campaigns by delivering workshops, product demonstrations, knowledge transfer, training delivery, and onsite support
Requirements:
• 5+ years of industry experience
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of ANSA and META
• Prior experience of commonly used structural solvers (e.g. NASTRAN, ABAQUS, LS-DYNA)
• Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong personal drive for continuous learning and expanding professional skill sets
• Outstanding verbal, written, and customer communication skills
• Located/relocate to San Jose, CA, with ability to travel
The annual salary range for California is $154,000 to $286,000. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
