    What you'll do...

     

    We are seeking a strategic-minded and results-oriented **Director of Accounts Receivable** to work across our Accounts Receivable teams supporting both traditional AR and healthcare AR operations. This role will be responsible for setting strategic direction, ensuring regulatory compliance, partnering with H&W operations teams, optimizing reimbursement cycles, and driving enterprise-wide improvements in cash flow and payer performance.

    What you'll do:

    + Develop and execute the strategic vision for accounts receivable operations, aligning with organizational goals and healthcare compliance standards.

    + Lead and mentor AR managers and teams responsible for billing, collections, and cash application.

    + Collaborate with executive leadership, H&W Operations, and IT to enhance AR workflows and system integrations.

    + Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific regulations across all AR activities.

    + Drive automation, analytics, and process innovation to improve efficiency and reduce cost-to-collect.

    + Serve as a key liaison with H&W Operations, Finance, and Payer Relations. .

    + Present AR performance, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

    What you'll bring:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

    + 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle or AR leadership, with at least 5 years in a director or senior leader level role.

    + Deep understanding of payer reimbursement models, including Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and value-based arrangements.

    + Proven success in leading cross functional teams and managing complex AR operations in a multi-entity healthcare environment.

    + Expertise in healthcare financial systems (e.g., Inmar, eCW, Xifin) and data analytics platforms.

    + Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

    + Experience with enterprise-wide AR transformation initiatives.

    + Familiarity with healthcare benchmarking tools and performance improvement frameworks.

    + Knowledge of governance and control frameworks, risk assessment, process design, and fraud detection.

    The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
