    Primary Purpose

     

    We are seeking a highly motivated System Administrator to support daily IT operations with a strong focus on end-user imaging, systems administration, and inventory management. This role is critical to ensuring seamless device provisioning, intake processing, patch management, and asset lifecycle tracking across our organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving IT issues that directly impact user productivity.

    Essential Functions

    End-User Device Imaging & Support

    + Perform daily imaging and reimaging of laptops/desktops using standardized tools and processes (e.g., MDT)

    + Ensure all systems are provisioned with the correct security baselines, configurations, and applications.

    + Provide hands-on technical support for onboarding/offboarding, device setups, and reassignments.

    Intake & Ticket Management

    + Monitor and respond to IT service requests and incident tickets via service desk tools.

    + Prioritize and fulfill user requests including software installations, account provisioning, access management, and hardware issues.

    Patch Management & System Administration

    + Manage and deploy OS and third-party patches and updates across endpoints.

    + Monitor patch compliance and remediate failed installations or vulnerabilities.

    + Perform basic administrative tasks in Active Directory, M365, and related IT platforms.

    Asset & Inventory Management

    + Receive, catalog, and tag new IT equipment (laptops, peripherals, accessories).

    + Maintain accurate inventory records in asset management systems.

    + Track and manage the asset lifecycle including assignments, returns, and retirements.

    Reporting & Documentation

    + Generate and maintain reports for patch compliance, asset tracking, and software deployments.

    + Maintain SOPs, how-to guides, and configuration documentation.

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION

    Min/Preferred Education Level Description

     

    Preferred 2 Year / Associates Degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field.

    EXPERIENCE

    3 of relevant experience with Microsoft Windows server operating systems,

     

    Active Directory, Group Policies, and TCP/IP networking or an equivalent

     

    combination of education and experience.

    ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    + Experience required in writing system documentation, system specifications/requirements, presentations, correspondence, studies, reports, and training materials

    + Demonstrated ability to properly develop and maintain accurate documentation

    + Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers served and systems administration staff

    + Ability to follow established policies and procedures

    + Ability to execute assignments as directed by the business and management

    + Experience in implementing high availability Microsoft Windows servers in a high-speed network and integrating workstations with Microsoft Windows servers preferred

    + Ability to work occasional nights and weekends as required

    + Ability to communicate professionally

    + Some Project Planning Experience

    + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

    + Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

    At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.

     

    Salary Range

     

    $66,700.00 – $96,700.00 / year
