    Responsibilities

    Noblis ESI is seeking a SharePoint Administrator with a records management and IT background to work with our clients in supporting our customer in Chantilly, VA.

     

    This role provides technical expertise in SharePoint administration, supports records management activities, and delivers tiered IT support across organizational platforms. The specialist ensures collaboration tools function optimally, digital records remain compliant with organizational policies, and end-users receive responsive technical assistance.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Maintain and administer Microsoft SharePoint sites, subsites, permissions, workflows, and content types

    + Customize SharePoint environments to meet user and business requirements

    + Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements

    + Train users on SharePoint features and promote adoption of collaboration tools

    + Support migration of legacy systems/content into SharePoint environments

    + Implement document retention schedules and support regulatory compliance requirements

    + Conduct regular audits of records repositories to ensure proper categorization and lifecycle status

    + Collaborate with Records Management Officers to ensure metadata standards and taxonomy alignment

    + Assist with digitization projects and secure archiving of physical/electronic records

    + Track, inventory, and prepare records for disposition according to policy

    + Provide Tier I IT technical assistance

    + Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with equipment provisioning and returns

    + Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and escalate complex problems as needed

    + Support onboarding/offboarding procedures, including account creation and permissions updates

    Required Qualifications

    + Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph

    + US Citizenship is required

    + Must have a Bachelor's with 6+ years of experience, OR Masters with 4+ years of experience, OR Associate and 8+ years of experience, OR High School with 10+ years of experience.

    + 2+ years of experience administering SharePoint in an enterprise environment

    + Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Suite, Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps), and basic scripting (PowerShell)

    + Understanding of records lifecycle management principles and regulatory compliance (e.g., NARA, DoD 5015.2)

    + Experience providing hands-on IT support and troubleshooting in a helpdesk environment

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills with a service-oriented mindset

    Desired Qualifications

    + Master’s Degree

    + Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation

    + Experience with enterprise content management (ECM) systems

    + Knowledge of classified/unclassified data handling policies (if applicable)

    + Experience in federal/government workplace settings

    Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.

    USD $97,400.00 - USD $152,225.00 /Yr.
