    Koniag Data Solutions, LLC,** a Koniag Government Services company **,** is seeking an IT Wire Install Lead with a Secret Clearance to support **KDS** and our government customer. **This is a Remote opportunity.

    Koniag Government Services is seeking an IT Wire Install Lead to join a dynamic team supporting the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The ideal candidate will have experience in leading wire installations and possess excellent technical skills.

    Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

    The IT Wire Install Lead will be responsible for leading a team in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

     

    + Leading a team in the installation of network cabling infrastructure.

    + Conducting surveys, assessments, and inspections of cabling systems.

    + Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to network cabling systems.

    + Ensuring installations meet industry standards and best practices.

    + Providing guidance and mentoring to team members.

    + Coordinating with project managers and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

    Education and Experience:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + 5+ years of experience in the installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems.

    + BICSI certification (or willingness to obtain).

    + Experience leading a team in cabling installations.

    Required Skills and Competencies:

    + Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices for structured cabling.

    + Secret security clearance required.

    + Ability to lead a team and coordinate project activities.

    + Excellent troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving cabling issues.

    + Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.

    + Ability to analyze situations and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

    Desired Skills and Competencies:

    + Experience working in a government contracting environment.

    + Familiarity with USPTO policies and procedures.

    + Additional certifications related to cabling installations.

    + Understanding of network infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
