    THOR Solutions is seeking a motivated mid-level Administrative Analyst to provide support services for Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) in San Diego, CA. In this role, you'll support the government customer’s Portfolio Board (PB), Portfolio Council (PC), and Space Working Group by coordinating meetings, facilitating industry engagements, and supporting event planning and execution. You will maintain the PC SharePoint site and Teams calendar, assist with budget tracking and reporting, and help prepare presentations and data calls for executive-level reviews. Additionally, you'll support NIWC participation in conferences and technical tours, manage a conference room and related supplies, and contribute to knowledge management by maintaining repositories and internal resources. This role requires a diverse skill set, including technical proficiency, attention to detail, and strong communication and organizational capabilities. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience obtained in a U.S. Navy/DoD environment.

    Typical Responsibilities:

    + Coordinate and Support Strategic Meetings: Facilitate PB/PC/Space Working Group meetings, bi-annual PMW reviews, and executive-level engagements by managing scheduling, briefers, logistics, and follow-up activities.

    + Lead Industry Engagement and Event Planning: Organize industry engagements, conferences, and tech tours, including registration, logistics, booth setup, handouts, and coordination with stakeholders and performers.

    + Manage Knowledge and Collaboration Platforms: Maintain and update the PC SharePoint site, Teams calendar, briefing repositories, and Hub pages to ensure accessibility and organization of key information.

    + Track Budgets and Generate Reports: Support budget monitoring, data calls, and reporting in coordination with the Business Financial Manager (BFM) team to enable informed decision-making.

    + Oversee Administrative and Operational Support: Serve as the primary POC for conference room management, prepare presentation materials, maintain technology/personnel tracking lists, and coordinate with PAO for poster production

     

    Typical Physical Activity: Desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion.

     

    Typical Pay Range: The anticipated pay range for this position in the identified location(s) is $28.00 – 32.00/hour. Actual compensation offered will be based upon individual factors including education, qualifications, and experience.

     

    Existing Security Clearance Required: This position requires a DoD Secret security clearance. A qualified candidate must already possess an active or interim Secret security clearance. A candidate with especially strong, relevant experience but no active security clearance may still be considered, but work start would be dependent upon a new Secret clearance being awarded.

    Typical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is highly preferred.

    + Other degrees, relevant business or vocational training, or relevant military experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

    + At least three (3) to five (5) years of recent, relevant experience providing diverse programmatic, administrative, and analytical support services.

    + Experience gained in a US Navy/DoD environment is preferred.

    + Experience with knowledge management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Atlassian Wiki, Interlinks/docs).

    + Strong proficiency with MS Office and Teams (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams, Forms, Planner, etc.).

    + Ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and skills.

    + Professional communication skills for engagement with executive-level NIWC personnel and industry stakeholders.

    + Experience with calendar management and event planning.

    + General administrative experience including conference room coordination, printing, and meeting logistics.
