What you'll be doing
As a Private Banking Loan Coordinator, you will facilitate the loan process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

How you'll succeed
+ **Loan File Management & Closings:** Manage loan files and closings for new and renewal loans, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate. Work closely with the closing team to review closing packets and ensure proper documents are ready for closing. This includes working closely with the closing team and performing pre- and post-closing reviews.
+ **Due Diligence:** Performing due diligence throughout the loan process, including conducting verification of customer identity by running OFAC, RAF and other due diligence in order to convert the client from prospect to customer and upload into the system to build the client profile.
+ **Monitoring** **& Reporting** **:** Monitoring and clearing AML loan exception items, as well as tracking other exception reports like document exceptions, reimbursable fees, and past due reports. Pulling EOY reports (1098’s and 1099’s).
+ **Loan Maintenance & Support:** Processing a wide range of loan-related transactions, including payments, reversals, accrual adjustments, payoffs, and address changes. This also involves assisting with ticklers, loan receivables, and document exception tracking reports for loans.
+ **Information & Document Management:** Collecting loan-specific information, retrieving executed documents, coordinating with operational teams, and managing electronic and physical loan files.Place electronic files and documents for existing and potential borrowers in the appropriate credit files and route all originals to the appropriate closer.
+ **Loan Portfolio Management & Reporting:** Managing and updating loan portfolio tracking queues for new loans and renewals associated with your team of Private Bankers.
+ **Communication & Support:** Communicate with lenders and Private Banking Client Service team assisting with questions relating to Commercial and Consumer loans.
+ **Adjustments:** Accurately process adjustments for paymentsand ACH requests in a timely matter when needed.
+ **Project Assistance** : Providing support for departmental projects as needed.
• **Who you are**
+ You possess a Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
+ You have 2-5 years of experience within the financial services industry, ideally with experience supporting HNW and UHNW clients.
+ You have experience with loan processing and are familiar with loan documentation.
+ You love to learn. You're passionate about growing your knowledge. You have a strong sense of curiosity.
+ You are proficient in Microsoft Office with a heavy emphasis on Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint
+ You understand high net worth and ultra-high net worth client profiles and typical product offerings.
+ You possess knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements.

_At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range_** **_of $65,000 - $75,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
