Job Summary and Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead initiatives to monitor and optimize product utilization across key clinical categories.
+ Identify and reduce variation in product use to support cost-effective, high-quality patient care.
+ Develop and implement strategies to reduce supply expenses and improve margins, especially in high-cost departments like surgical services and cath labs.
+ Analyze supply expense trends, identify variances, and create action plans to control costs.
+ Facilitate and contribute to value analysis meetings at facility, division, or service line levels.
+ Evaluate clinical products and technologies for quality, cost, and compliance, supporting standardization and waste reduction.
+ Build strong relationships with hospital leadership, physicians, and supply chain teams to drive collaboration and satisfaction.
+ Conduct department rounds and observe procedures to identify improvement opportunities.
+ Communicate and educate stakeholders on product and procedural changes.
+ Perform financial and data analysis to support decision-making and quantify savings.
+ Manage projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor, providing insights and training to stakeholders.
+ Support disaster response efforts and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Health Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy or other Allied Health Profession) with related experiences in healthcare value analysis, clinical supply chain, or acute care hospital performance is required.
+ Minimum of 5 years of clinical healthcare experience is required.
+ Experience in acute care setting preferred.
+ Experience with direct patient care highly preferred.
