    Job Description

    This role will oversee 40 legacy banking and EDI applications that are needing modernization and migration work. They will utilize CICD (ADO, Github, Jenkins, or Octopus) to migrate the application repositories and backlog to new environments and modernize .NET applications.

     

    - Understanding and implementing robust security features, including encryption (both at rest and in transit), authentication, authorization, and secure communication protocols, is crucial for protecting sensitive patient data.

     

    - Knowledge of techniques to improve application performance and efficiency, such as fixing memory leaks and optimizing the garbage collector, sets apart top developers.

     

    - Strong debugging and testing skills are essential for identifying and resolving issues and ensuring the creation of reliable and user-friendly applications.

     

    - Adherence to regulations like HIPAA in the US and GDPR in Europe is crucial for protecting patient data and avoiding penalties.

     

    - Deep understanding of best practices for protecting sensitive patient data, implementing access controls, conducting regular security audits, and establishing backup and recovery plans.

    Skills and Requirements

    - 5+ years of full stack development experience with a strong focus on C# and .NET Core/.NET 6- Solid experience with SQL Server, relational database design, SSIS, and SSRS

     

    Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins

     

    Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices

    Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles null
