    The Senior Process Improvement & Business Intelligence Professional, reporting to the Associate Director of Enterprise Print Management, is tasked with analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of existing business processes and developing sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable improvements. This role involves researching the best practices both within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data, collecting and analyzing process data. With considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments, the primary objective is to identify inefficiencies, update process and procedure policies, develop, and execute process improvement procedures to optimize operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Function as a bridge between stakeholders, business, and technology teams.

    + Create and monitor status reports for key stakeholders.

    + Integrate processes among internal functions (business owners, operations, purchasing, logistics) and outside print vendors.

    + Focus resources on continuous improvement of printed materials movement through production processes.

    + Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks for supply chain planning/forecasting.

    + Promote alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements.

    + Understand department, segment, organizational strategy and operating objectives.

    + Follow established guidelines and procedures.

    + Assist with the implementation of work measurement programs.

    + Work on front-to-back initiatives to make end-to-end processes more effective, focusing on customer value flow.

    + Create and present process improvement reports.

    + Troubleshoot and improve new processes.

    + Update process and procedure policies.

    + Analyze current process standards and metrics to provide solutions for improvements.

    + Perform data gathering, root cause analysis, and performance trending to develop appropriate process control changes.

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree or work equivalent.

    + 2+ years of involvement in analyzing processes, developing and implementing process changes, and achieving measurable results.

    + Strong analytical skills to scrutinize data and extract meaningful insights.

    + 2+ years of proficiency in database languages such as SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.

    + Demonstrated expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, SSRS.

    + Knowledge of Power Automate and PowerApps.

    + Experience with SSIS or equivalent.

    + Diligence to ensure accuracy and consistency in data and reports.

    + Time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex data in understandable reports to clients and managers.

    + Strong understanding of business operations and processes.

    + Critical thinking skills to identify and resolve data discrepancies.

    + Ability to collaborate with a team, sharing insights, and assisting in decision-making processes.

    + This role is fully remote from Eastern Standard Time Zones only

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Project management experience focusing on print fulfillment and inventory management.

    + Experience in working for a large-scale health and wellbeing organization preferred.

    + Knowledge of working with logistics partners such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS, including mail and logistic best practices.

    + Understanding of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines.

    + Knowledge of Ultra Edit, HTML, Visual Studio Code, Toad for SQL Server, Toad for Oracle, or PowerShell.

    At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership. Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense. Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

     

    Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

    Pay Range

     

    The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

     

    $78,400 - $107,800 per year

     

    This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
