About the role
The Senior Project Manager will lead corporate office renovation projects consisting of individual, multi-disciplined commercial real estate project solutions for our financial services client, with direct accountability for project delivery.
Projects mainly consist of infrastructure capital improvements for corporate offices from Florida as far north as Virginia. Role will be based out of the client's corporate office location in either Tampa or Jacksonville, FL and offers a hybrid schedule.
What you’ll do
Manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual commercial real estate construction projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
Interface directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.
Identify project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification processes; conduct standard to sophisticated requests for proposals; complete bid analysis; lead evaluation interviews and recommend resources to clients.
May lead project delivery team (typically a larger more expert-level team) providing project mentorship and direction to achieve project goals.
Implement communication plans for meetings, written reports, and meeting minutes to ensure client and project resources are advised in real-time. Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated. Facilitate project meetings.
Supervise progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Craft action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
Implement change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to resolve impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk.
Demonstrate ability to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks. Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and CCM designations preferred.
+ Solid track record of working with senior leadership in a strategic capacity and the ability to lead delivery resources or management of corporate office projects is required.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment while leading multiple projects and/or programs in varying stages.
+ Class "A" Financial or Professional Services client and infrastructure/MEP experience is desired.
