Job Purpose Summary

We are seeking a **Plant Controller** with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment to join our team. The Plant Controller role provides financial leadership and partners with the plant management team to improve profitability, drive operational improvements and give insights to production costs. In addition to helping improve operational performance, the role will be responsible for forecasting results, reporting actuals, variance analysis, and financial controls. The position is part of the plant leadership team and will report to the Finance Director and be part of the global finance controller network. This position will be based in either St. Louis, MO; Parsippany, NJ; or Grand Blanc, MI, and will oversee operations at our St. Louis and Grand Blanc facilities.

What you will do

+ Prepare and analyze financial statements for both subsidiaries, including income statements and balance sheets.

+ Provide financial reporting and analysis to senior management on a regular basis.

+ Creation of the monthly management accounts including full variance analysis.

+ Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts.

+ Monitor and report on KPIs.

+ Conduct gross margin analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.

+ Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that financial goals are met.

+ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.

+ Ensure compliance with all accounting and financial reporting requirements.

+ Manage the day-to-day accounting for the business.

+ Creating monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

+ Liaising with auditors, taking ownership of the annual audit.

+ 13 week cash forecasting.

+ Intercompany reconciliations.

What you will need

+ Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.

+ 5+ years of relevant experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.

+ Demonstrated ability to develop financial processes, focusing on continuous improvement within the finance function and the wider business.

+ Strong cost accounting experience is essential.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other financial software. ERP system experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or CSI a plus.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of monthly accounts.

+ Highly motivated with a desire to push boundaries and create value.

+ Comfortable liaising with management, leading month-end close meetings.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

+ Strong understanding of financial principles and business operations.

_Corza Medical offers a competitive benefits package including medical, 401K, vacation and sick time, paternal leave and other benefits._

_A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this role is $90,000 - $140,000/year. Further, pay is offered based on geographic location, internal equity, market data, applicant’s job-related skills, commensurate experience, required licensures, certifications, and certain degrees._
