    We are searching for a compassionate and self-motivated Medical Assistant who thrives in a busy work environment and is passionate about providing top quality patient care. This role will be a great fit for someone who has experience providing point of care testing, injections, and is comfortable working administrative as well as clinical tasks.

     

    Work Schedule: FT. 40 hours. with start times between 7:15-8:15am and close times between 5:00-6:00pm

     

    Team Structure: 2 Physicians / 1 Nurse Practitioner, 1 Practitioner Assistant / 1 Medical Assistant / 1 Registered Nurse

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

    1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    2. Medical Assistant Certification.

    3. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

    4. Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.

    5. Work experience in health care preferred.

    6. Current Phlebotomy certification or Competency required.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $18.15 to $26.29. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
