    Job Overview:

    The Web Development team is responsible for implementing new features, optimizing performance, and ensuring the security of the B&H website. They work closely with other departments such as design, product management, and marketing to ensure that the website meets the needs of both the company and its customers. The Level 3 Web Developer plays a crucial role in the team, tackling intricate projects and tasks that require advanced skills and knowledge while also providing technical leadership and guidance to junior developers. In addition to their technical skills, the Level 3 Web Engineer also possesses excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, they can work under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals. Overall, the team dedicated to Web Development at B&H plays a vital role in the success of the company's online platform. Their expertise and dedication ensure that customers have a seamless shopping experience, leading to increased customer satisfaction and loyalty.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • The main duties of a Level 3 Web Developer include independently writing advanced full stack code with JavaScript, Node.js, React, SQL, and a bit of Java.

    • The developer will be tasked with working on large projects and challenging assignments specifically on B&H’s flagship website.

    • Responsibilities include writing complex code that integrates front-end and back-end technologies seamlessly.

    • The developer must possess a deep understanding of JavaScript frameworks such as React to build dynamic user interfaces.

    • Proficiency in JavaScript as a Back-End language is essential for handling server-side logic and building scalable applications.

    • Strong SQL skills are required for managing database queries and ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

    • Knowledge of Java is beneficial for some legacy applications written in Java.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • The developer is also expected to join team leaders in mentoring junior team members, providing support and guidance in addition to their technical work.

    • Collaboration with other team members is crucial to ensure the successful completion of projects within specified timelines.

    • Continuous learning and staying updated on the latest technologies and trends in web development are essential for maintaining high performance and delivering quality results.

    Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:
