Job Description:

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking dedicated and flexible individuals to join our team as Substitute Teaching Assistants. This position offers the opportunity to support teachers and students in a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist classroom teachers with implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.

+ Support students with their academic and emotional needs.

+ Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, and recess.

+ Help maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment.

+ Adapt to various classroom settings and student needs.

+ Communicate effectively with teachers and school staff.

Qualifications:

+ A high school diploma or equivalent, college coursework in education is a plus.

+ Experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

+ The ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations.

+ NYS Department of Education Fingerprint Clearance (or willing to obtain)
