    Responsibilities:

    Provide pre-placement and placement support services to youth and adults, including: job-seeking skills (e.g., resume preparation, interviewing skill development, job placement assistance, travel training, job development and matching, worksite orientation, skill training and re-training at the job site, task analyses, situational assessments, social integration, ongoing assessment, and consumer advocacy). Act as liaison between staff, referral sources, school districts, employers, parents and individuals being served. Complete all paperwork electronically including: progress reports, case notes, staff activity logs, timesheets, all correspondences with the funding agency regarding each case. Flexibility in traveling throughout Long Island and the New York Metropolitan area is also required. All other duties that may be required for efficient, effective delivery of services.

    Qualifications and Education:

    A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience working with adolescents or adults with disabilities through job coaching, job development, or other business experience preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Ability to travel locally is essential to this position.
