    Key job responsibilities

    As a Program Manager, Catalog Integrity, you'll be at the forefront of protecting Amazon's catalog integrity through data-driven insights and innovative solutions. You will lead comprehensive analyses of large-scale datasets to identify emerging abuse patterns and trends, translating these findings into actionable intelligence. Your role will involve spearheading deep-dive investigations into suspicious listing patterns, working to understand the root causes and developing strategic solutions to address them.

     

    A key aspect of your role will be driving cross-functional collaboration to implement protective measures, working closely with tech teams, business stakeholders, and policy teams to build and deploy effective safeguards. You'll also play a crucial role in developing and refining detection algorithms, leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to catch abuse at scale. Additionally, you'll explore and implement generative AI solutions to enhance investigation efficiency and develop innovative approaches to mitigate emerging abuse patterns.

     

    Your strategic thinking will be essential in creating impactful reports and recommendations for leadership, helping to shape the direction of our catalog protection efforts. You'll own the continuous improvement of our protection strategies, regularly assessing their effectiveness and adapting them to address evolving threats.

     

    A day in the life

     

    As a Program Manager in Catalog Integrity, you'll protect Amazon's vast product catalog through data-driven solutions and innovative approaches. Your day involves analyzing abuse patterns using SQL, leading cross-functional investigations, and developing detection algorithms. You'll explore generative AI applications to enhance investigation efficiency while collaborating with Engineering, Science, and Product teams to implement protective measures at scale. Working closely with Brand Registry, Policy, and Legal teams, you'll balance robust protection with seller experience, directly contributing to maintaining Amazon's position as the world's most trusted marketplace.

    The Catalog Integrity team plays a pivotal role in maintaining trust in Amazon's global marketplace. We protect millions of customers and brands worldwide by ensuring product authenticity and catalog accuracy. Our team designs and implements innovative solutions using technology and data analytics to prevent abuse and maintain catalog quality. We operate in a fast-paced environment where creative problem-solving meets technical expertise. As a team that directly impacts customer trust and brand protection, we foster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 3+ years of program or project management experience

     

    - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

     

    - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

     

    - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

     

    - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

     

    - Bachelor's degree

    Preferred Qualifications

    - 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

     

    - 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

     

    - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

     

    - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
