    Penetration Testing Task Lead

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct penetration testing attacks against systems to test simulated real-world threats with the goal to identify vulnerabilities before actual malicious actors exploit the weaknesses.

    + Perform system administration duties for VAPT security assessment systems including scanning servers, sensors, and pen test assets.

    + In-depth knowledge of industry standard vulnerability scanning toolsets. Experience leading a team of analysts.

    + Schedule, perform, interpret, and report results for vulnerability assessments and scans using established procedures and report templates.

    + Investigate and correlate emerging vulnerabilities that may impact the Department and provide detailed reporting concerning the vulnerability to inform the broader community.

    + Update and/or create security assessment rules to detect exploit attempts against the vulnerabilities as needed.

    + Possess applicable certifications and credentials such as Certified Ethical Hackers or the equivalent for penetration testing and vulnerability assessment work.

    + Share, upon request, created reports and associated documentation across the Cybersecurity Operations division.

    + Provide PMO support for customer engagement and development of documents such as Rules of Engagement for testing.

    + Perform vulnerability data analysis and reporting. Analyze and collect vulnerability data to assist in risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and continuous monitoring.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + 5-8 years of experience in managing programs

    + Pentest+ and CISSP certifications

    + US Citizenship
