    Description

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our client's IT team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure, contributing to the organization's technological growth and stability. As a Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our network systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to network management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Design, implement, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network architectures.

    + Configure and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

    + Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement solutions to enhance network reliability and speed.

    + Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems with applications, servers, and other infrastructure components.

    + Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.

    + Plan and execute network upgrades, patches, and migrations while minimizing downtime and disruptions.

    + Analyze network traffic and usage patterns to optimize network performance and resource allocation.

    + Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and end-users on network-related matters.

    + Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and protocols.

    + Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations to the network infrastructure.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    + 5-8 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.

    + Proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching, and network security concepts.

    + Strong knowledge of network hardware, including Cisco routers and switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

    + Experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities.

    + Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

    + Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are advantageous.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues.

    + Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    + Detail-oriented approach to network design, documentation, and implementation.

    + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
