• VP/Director of Finance

    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Director of Finance for our client in Alexandria, Louisiana. This role is ideal for a finance professional with deep expertise in accounting, forecasting, and business analytics. The Director of Finance will play a key role in shaping the financial health and strategic direction of the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support business objectives.

    + Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.

    + Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior leadership.

    + Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.

    + Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business cases and optimize resource allocation.

    + Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.

    + Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors as needed.

    + Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

    + 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or corporate finance.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.

    + Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting tools, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Preferred Attributes

     

    + Experience in a high-growth or dynamic industry.

    + Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).

    + Passion for continuous improvement and innovation in financial processes.
