    Description

    Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our clients’ accounting operations. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing incoming payments, tracking customer accounts, and ensuring accurate financial records. This role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and a desire to contribute to smooth billing and collection processes.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Process incoming payments and apply them to the correct customer accounts.

    + Generate and distribute invoices to customers in a timely manner.

    + Reconcile accounts receivable to ensure payment accuracy and address discrepancies.

    + Follow up with customers regarding overdue accounts and monitor aging reports.

    + Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts receivable functions.

    + Maintain proper documentation of transactions and correspondence with customers.

    + Collaborate with other departments, including billing and customer service, to resolve payment issues.

    + Adhere to company policies and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

    Requirements

    + 1-3 years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience preferred.

    + High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in accounting or finance is a plus.

    + Familiarity with accounting and ERP systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle preferred. Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas) is a bonus.

    + Strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

    + None required, but basic accounting certifications may be advantageous.
