Description

Robert Half Technology is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst where you will play a vital role in maintaining the functionality of our clients IT systems and ensuring a seamless end-user experience. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, assisting with hardware and software installations, and collaborating with other IT professionals to enhance our overall IT environment. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via in-person, phone, and remote channels.

+ Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

+ Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and software patches.

+ Collaborate with IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.

+ Set up and configure new hardware and software, ensuring proper user access and permissions.

+ Maintain accurate records of support requests, solutions provided, and technical documentation.

+ Assist in maintaining and optimizing IT systems, including regular maintenance tasks and updates.

+ Educate end-users on basic troubleshooting techniques and best practices to minimize future issues.

+ Stay current with industry trends and technologies to contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT support services.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

+ 3-5 years of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst or similar role.

+ Strong proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

+ Knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.

+ Familiarity with Active Directory, user account management, and basic network concepts.

+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.

+ Customer-focused attitude and commitment to providing high-quality technical support.

+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

+ Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are advantageous.

+ Basic understanding of network protocols and configurations is a plus.
