Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their talented Finance & Accounting team. This company thrives on collaboration, professionalism, and opportunities for advancement, offering a rewarding environment for accounting professionals who take pride in their expertise.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

+ Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and statements of cash flow, ensuring they adhere to GAAP standards and organizational policies

+ Oversee key elements of the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, such as journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.

+ Complete detailed account reconciliations and proactively resolve discrepancies.

+ Collaborate with internal departments to support budgeting, financial forecasting, and tax compliance reporting.

+ Prepare and support responses to internal and external audit requests by maintaining appropriate schedules and documentation.

+ Work as a business partner with department leaders, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial accuracy and cost management.

+ Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance operational and reporting efficiencies, including automation and system upgrades.

Requirements

+ Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience; prior experience in public accounting or industry-specific accounting highly desired

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA strongly preferred.

+ Proficiency in financial software, such as NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks.

+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.

+ Solid grasp of U.S. GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements.

+ Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
