Description

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a dynamic and growing family-owned business. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee financial operations and contribute to the company's ambitious growth plans. The role involves managing a complex financial structure and supporting strategic initiatives to achieve significant revenue expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations, including cash flow management, capital allocation, and financial reporting.

• Lead the accounting team, which includes accounts payable specialists, general ledger accountants, and accounting clerks.

• Ensure accurate month-end close processes and monitor reconciliation of financial statements.

• Conduct detailed forensic financial analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and mitigate risks.

• Collaborate with ownership and leadership teams to develop strategies for revenue growth and funding initiatives.

• Manage business systems related to financial operations and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, fostering growth and efficiency.

• Support the company in preparing for funding rounds and other strategic financial events.

• Monitor and optimize the financial performance of multiple LLCs under the business umbrella.

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Requirements • Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive, preferably in complex organizational structures.

• Strong background in cash flow analysis and capital management.

• Expertise in month-end close processes and financial reconciliations.

• Proficiency in business systems and financial reporting tools.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct forensic financial analysis and resolve discrepancies.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Familiarity with managing financial operations across multiple entities or LLCs.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present financial insights.
