Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Camden, South Carolina. This Contract-to-Permanent position requires a motivated and detail-oriented individual who excels in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR background, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to managing core HR operations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the recruitment process, including managing the applicant tracking system, conducting screenings, and coordinating background checks and credentialing.
• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, such as conducting orientations, managing I-9/E-Verify verifications in Paycom, and handling exit interviews.
• Administer benefits programs, including supporting open enrollment and ensuring timely updates in HR systems.
• Provide payroll support by approving time entries, managing PTO requests, and ensuring compliance with payroll procedures.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files and compliance documentation.
• Address employee relations matters and support training and development initiatives as needed.
• Collaborate on HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) implementation and training to streamline HR processes.
• Manage multiple HR-related inboxes, routing or responding to inquiries as appropriate.
• Utilize a company vehicle to visit satellite offices when required.
• Ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and compliance standards. Requirements • 5-7 years of experience in human resources, demonstrating attention to detail and covering multiple HR functions.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems, such as Paycom, and familiarity with data management.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience in benefits administration, including open enrollment processes.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage employee relations effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and inboxes in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to travel locally to satellite offices as needed. TalentMatch®
