Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Costa Mesa, California. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The role involves working with Sage Intacct to manage financial records and contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain accurate journal entries to ensure proper financial reporting.

• Oversee and manage general ledger activities, ensuring all entries are complete and accurate.

• Perform bank reconciliations to verify and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Support the month-end closing process, including preparing and reviewing financial statements.

• Collaborate with team members to enhance the efficiency of financial operations.

• Utilize Sage Intacct to streamline accounting functions and provide actionable recommendations for process improvements.

• Assist with preparing documentation for audits and compliance reviews.

• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in Sage Intacct is required.

• Strong understanding of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying process improvements.

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
