Description

We are looking for a dependable Legal Receptionist with strong attention to detail to join our team on a contract basis in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication and organization within the office. This position requires excellent multitasking skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.

• Manage a multi-line phone system, including routing calls and taking accurate messages.

• Coordinate scheduling and maintain calendars for team members and office resources.

• Handle inbound calls efficiently, providing information and directing inquiries appropriately.

• Assist with document preparation, including editing, formatting, and finalizing materials.

• Maintain a clean and organized reception area, reflecting the company’s high standards.

• Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and address any issues promptly.

Requirements

• Legal experience highly preferred.

• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with calendaring tools and scheduling practices.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents and tasks.

• Proficiency in basic office software, including word processing and email applications.

• Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
