    Description

    We are looking for a HIMs associate to join our client's team in a short-term contract position. This role involves managing regulatory compliance for release of information standards and ensuring accurate invoicing for requests. This is a remote position that must work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST hours.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process and log incoming release of information requests with precision and adherence to regulatory standards.

    • Generate accurate invoices for requests, maintaining a high level of accountability.

    • Manage a high volume of daily requests, ensuring timely processing to meet organizational targets.

    • Collaborate with team members to resolve backlog issues and improve workflows.

    • Track and report progress towards meeting end-of-year targets and business objectives.

    • Support offshore teams in maintaining compliance and operational efficiency.

    • Conduct regular backlog grooming to prioritize and organize pending tasks.

    • Contribute to team goals by ensuring all tasks are completed on time and with quality.

    • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders to address inquiries and concerns.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in medical billing, HIM, medical records, or release of information processes.

    • Strong understanding of regulatory standards related to healthcare billing.

    • Familiarity with TRICARE and NIS systems is highly preferred.

    • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle high volumes of requests.

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in invoicing and documentation.

    • Ability to work collaboratively with team members across different locations.

    • Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders and resolve issues.

    • Proficient in backlog management and prioritization techniques.
