Description

Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper for a Brookfield, Wisconsin area organization. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and journals.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and on time.

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial statements.

• Utilize QuickBooks to track and organize financial information.

• Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Address discrepancies and resolve issues related to financial transactions.

• Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Experience with performing bank reconciliations.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial tasks.

• Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and external partners.
