Primary Job Responsibilities:

+ Analyze financial data, trends, and metrics to support decision-making and organizational strategies.

+ Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for leadership, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.

+ Conduct variance analysis for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

+ Collaborate with various departments, such as program leadership and operations, to enhance budgeting and resource allocation.

+ Assist in monitoring and managing funding sources, including grants, donations, and tuition revenue, ensuring compliance with applicable policies.

+ Identify opportunities for improving financial efficiency and streamlining processes such as expense tracking and cost management.

+ Provide support for audits by preparing schedules and documentation for external auditors.

+ Build and maintain financial models to help project future revenue and cost scenarios.

Requirements

+ 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the education sector or nonprofit industry.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CFA, CPA, or MBA is a plus.

+ Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Workday) and Microsoft Excel (e.g., advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling).

+ Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a bonus

+ Strong understanding of key financial concepts, budgeting, forecasting, and funding compliance within the education industry.

+ Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate cross-functionally, high attention to detail, and strong analytical thinking.
