Description We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth payroll and accounting operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization within the real estate and property industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process full-cycle payroll, ensuring accurate and timely distribution for bi-monthly payroll periods.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.

• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.

• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements.

• Collaborate with team members to support month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions and accounts.

• Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.

• Provide assistance with audits and financial reporting as required.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience with journal entries and general ledger maintenance.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Proficiency in full-cycle payroll processing, preferably bi-monthly.

• Familiarity with accounting software and tools, with a focus on accuracy.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
