    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in New York, NY. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic real estate firm by managing key financial and administrative tasks. The role requires precision and efficiency in handling invoices, payments, and related documentation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately input invoices into the accounting system, ensuring all entries are complete and error-free.

    • Process approximately 250 invoices monthly, maintaining a streamlined workflow.

    • Perform accounts payable tasks, including verifying, reconciling, and approving payments.

    • Scan and organize checks for processing and archiving purposes.

    • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for easy retrieval.

    • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.

    • Utilize Skyline software for invoice management, if applicable.

    • Assist with general data entry tasks, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

    • Support the real estate team with financial administrative duties as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

    • Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.

    • Familiarity with Skyline accounting software is advantageous but not mandatory.

    • Ability to process a high volume of invoices efficiently.

    • Knowledge of commercial or corporate real estate environments is preferred.

    • Proficient in check scanning and processing procedures.

    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

    • Capability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
