IT Project Manager
Service Type: Temporary (95 weeks)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to support a dynamic Crew Applications Technology team. This role involves managing a range of technology initiatives, including both shipboard and shoreside applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, technical acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex deployments and configurations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead and manage projects related to crew application systems, from enhancements to new build oversight.
+ Oversee configuration, data loading, and testing of interconnected applications.
+ Coordinate deployment planning and triage for both pre-production and production environments.
+ Develop and test automated job scheduling using tools such as Automic.
+ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand project needs and ensure successful delivery.
+ Navigate ambiguous objectives and adapt to evolving project scopes.
+ Provide clear and effective communication tailored to various audiences.
+ Maintain strong financial oversight and budget management throughout project lifecycles.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 4 years of direct project management experience (5+ years preferred for senior-level consideration).
+ Proven experience in project planning, budget management, and team leadership.
+ Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
+ Familiarity with product-centric delivery models and digital/technology organizations.
+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to adjust messaging based on audience.
+ Demonstrated adaptability in leadership style and approach.
+ Self-starter with the ability to anticipate project needs and work independently.
+ Strong financial acumen and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in the maritime industry is a plus.
+ Previous experience working in a large-scale enterprise or regulated environment.
