    Description

    Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Payable Clerk to support the financial operations of our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong aptitude for maintaining accurate financial records. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports, while contributing to the financial health and operations of the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Process a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

    + Verify, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system according to company policies and procedures.

    + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

    + Monitor payment schedules to ensure invoices are paid on time and in accordance with agreed terms.

    + Prepare and execute weekly check runs, electronic payments, and wire transfers.

    + Collaborate with internal departments to obtain invoice approvals and resolve payment issues.

    + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes by preparing accruals and account reconciliations.

    + Maintain accurate records and file documents for audit purposes.

    Requirements

    + 1-3 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience.

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is a plus.

    + Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is a strong advantage.

    + Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle a high volume of transactions efficiently.
