    QA Automation Engineer

     

    Hybrid onsite in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, CA

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Woodland Hills, CA. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week onsite, where you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining a robust Quality Assurance process. This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of QA processes, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.

     

    Compensation

     

    + Base Salary: $110,000 - $130,000

    + Discretionary Bonus and Competitive Benefits

    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform 50/50 manual and automated testing, with an emphasis on manual testing initially.

    + Collaborate with the data engineering team to digest complex automation challenges into smaller, actionable parts.

    + Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Python.

    + Ensure data validation and testing across multiple layers of the data structure.

    + Work with large datasets and perform comprehensive data verification to ensure accuracy and reliability.

    + Assess current QA needs, execute short-term manual solutions, and develop long-term automation frameworks.

    + Take ownership of QA practices, working closely with the data engineering team and QA vendor support to ensure optimal development processes.

     

    Must-Have Skills

     

    + Selenium expertise for automation testing.

    + Proficiency in Python, rated at a 7-8 out of 10 for advanced coding, debugging, and scripting.

    + Demonstrated experience working with large datasets and data structures, showcasing data savvy and problem-solving abilities for automation challenges.

    Additional Requirements

    + Strong ability to digest and tackle complex automation problems using adaptive, data-driven techniques.

    + Familiarity with establishing and maintaining a new QA structure and automating crucial processes from scratch.

    + Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the initiative to take ownership of the QA process.
