Description We are looking for a meticulous Bookkeeper to manage financial records and contribute to the accuracy of financial reporting for our organization. This Contract-to-permanent position is based in Phoenix, Arizona, and offers the opportunity to work closely with business owners to ensure seamless financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong QuickBooks expertise and a solid grasp of financial statement preparation, along with the ability to navigate multiple computer applications efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.

• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly financial statements and reports.

• Manage payroll processes, ensuring compliance and timeliness.

• Handle account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and maintain data integrity.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage bookkeeping tasks and generate necessary reports.

• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and account analysis.

• Enter and update financial data in various systems with precision.

• Collaborate with business owners to address financial concerns and provide insights.

• Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to financial software and tools. Requirements • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.

• Ability to perform accurate bank and account reconciliations.

• Familiarity with month-end close procedures and financial statement preparation.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

• High attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.

• Solid problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting basic software issues.
