Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our legal team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to a growing group of attorneys, ensuring seamless case management and efficient legal operations. This position requires a willingness to take initiative and handle tasks collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to a team of attorneys, assisting with case preparation and legal documentation.

• Manage and maintain case files using case management software, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

• Coordinate schedules and deadlines through effective calendar management.

• Prepare and process legal briefs, motions, and other court-related documents.

• Handle claim administration tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

• Assist with billing functions and tracking legal expenses.

• Utilize tools such as Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) to streamline workflows.

• Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and third parties to address inquiries and provide updates.

• Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.

• Support collaborative efforts across the legal team and take initiative to address emerging needs. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably with a background in insurance defense.

• Proficient in case management software and tools such as Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and CompuLaw.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Familiarity with claim administration processes and legal billing practices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation.

• Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
