Description We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Charles City, Virginia. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in managing payroll operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. As a key contributor to the payroll team, you will play an important role in maintaining accurate records and processing payroll efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Process full-cycle payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.

• Manage payroll operations for an employee base ranging from 101 to 500 individuals.

• Handle garnishments and other payroll-related deductions in compliance with legal requirements.

• Maintain precise payroll records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues.

• Utilize ADP systems to streamline payroll processes and maintain system integrity.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Generate reports related to payroll activities and provide insights to management.

• Assist in audits to ensure payroll accuracy and adherence to company policies. Requirements • Proven experience in payroll processing and management.

• Familiarity with full-cycle payroll operations.

• Ability to manage payroll for medium-sized employee populations (101-500 individuals).

• Knowledge of garnishments and payroll deductions.

• Experience using ADP payroll systems or similar platforms.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Understanding of payroll compliance regulations.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and resolve payroll issues.
