Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Supply Planning Analyst to join our remote team. In this long-term contract position, you will oversee the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of materials to ensure a seamless supply chain process. This role requires independent judgment, expertise in attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and oversee the inbound movement of materials from suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Analyze material requirements and coordinate with purchasing, production, and engineering teams to maintain efficiency.
• Develop and refine specifications for new contract orders based on organizational needs.
• Monitor and adjust supply planning processes to align with production goals and timelines.
• Collaborate with suppliers to address and resolve issues related to materials handling and delivery.
• Utilize industry best practices and procedures to optimize supply chain operations.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations in all supply planning activities.
• Provide regular updates and reports to management on supply chain performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
• Support cross-departmental communication to address challenges and align objectives.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of supply chain procedures and material handling processes.
• Proficiency in planning and scheduling tools and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Familiarity with production and engineering processes is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
