Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist to join our team in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This part-time position offers 20 hours per week to start, with flexibility in scheduling as the role develops. As a Contract to permanent opportunity, this role is ideal for professionals seeking growth and long-term placement within payroll and HR functions.

Responsibilities:

• Process multi-state payroll for over 500 employees accurately and on time.

• Manage full-cycle payroll tasks, including data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Utilize payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now to handle employee payroll data.

• Assist with HR functions, including recruiting and onboarding new employees.

• Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Support payroll system operations, including Paylocity and Central Reach, if applicable.

• Collaborate with the HR team to enhance payroll processes and ensure operational efficiency.

• Maintain meticulous records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes.

• Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Requirements • Proven experience in payroll processing, including multi-state payroll.

• Familiarity with handling payroll for over 500 employees.

• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and other payroll systems.

• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.

• Ability to manage full-cycle payroll operations independently.

• Experience in HR tasks such as recruiting and onboarding is a plus.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently in a part-time capacity.
