    Legal Assistant – St. Louis, MO

     

    Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with excellent transcription and legal assistant skills? Our client, a well-established legal office in St. Louis, is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their team. If you bring experience in workers' compensation or are eager to learn, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

     

    Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys.

     

    + Handle accurate and timely transcription of legal documents.

    + Assist in preparing and managing case files.

    + Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and other legal entities.

    + Maintain schedules, deadlines, and ensure overall office efficiency.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:Strong transcription skills with a keen eye for detail.

     

    + Proven experience as a legal assistant in a law firm setting.

    + Familiarity with workers’ compensation cases is a plus, but not required.

    + Proficient in office and legal software tools.

    + Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

    + Compensation & Benefits:Salary: $45,000–$55,000 annually, based on experience.

    + Schedule: Full-time, in-office role – Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM–5 PM with a 1-hour lunch break.
