Description
We are looking for an experienced Revenue Analyst to join our team in Covington, Louisiana. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing financial data, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and managing high-volume billing operations. The ideal candidate will excel at interpreting complex data, managing budgets, and executing large-scale billing processes with precision and efficiency to support business growth.
Responsibilities:
+ Conduct detailed analysis of revenue streams to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
+ Apply revenue recognition principles in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
+ Ensure accurate coding and classification of financial transactions to maintain data integrity.
+ Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support strategic planning.
+ Perform ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business needs and provide actionable insights.
+ Manage and execute high-volume billing operations, including monthly, milestone, and progress billing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contract terms.
+ Own a significant portion of the billing cycle, from invoice generation to reconciliation, working closely with internal teams and clients.
+ Monitor and optimize billing processes to reduce errors and improve turnaround time.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounts receivable systems and enterprise resource planning tools.
+ Utilize advanced Excel formulas for data interpretation and reporting.
+ Drive process optimization initiatives to enhance financial operations.
+ Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at various levels.

Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
+ 3-5 years of experience in billing operations, financial analysis, or revenue recognition.
+ Strong knowledge of revenue recognition policies, coding principles, and accounting standards.
+ Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
+ Familiarity with billing functions, accounts receivable systems, and enterprise resource planning software.
+ Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex formulas.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
+ Strong communication skills to present financial insights clearly to diverse audiences.
+ Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
