Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This Contract-to-Permanent position is ideal for someone with a strong background in managing vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy in expense reporting. You will play a critical role in maintaining smooth financial operations and resolving discrepancies effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Process and code vendor invoices accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Maintain vendor files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and organized.

• Prepare comprehensive expense reports and verify all supporting details.

• Identify and resolve account discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure accurate financial records.

• Perform account reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address any issues related to accounts payable.

• Utilize Costpoint - Deltek software to manage accounts payable processes efficiently.

• Review and verify account coding for transactions to ensure accuracy.

• Monitor vendor accounts and maintain strong relationships to address payment concerns when needed.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

• Proficiency in coding invoices and handling account coding processes.

• Strong knowledge of preparing expense reports and managing vendor files.

• Experience in resolving account discrepancies and performing reconciliations.

• Familiarity with Costpoint - Deltek software is required.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.

• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
